100% wet spun linen from France, 3700 yards/lb on 1/2 lb (227g) spools of 1850 yds.Linen has an amazing sheen once wet finished and hard pressed, and is especially beautiful in lace. This linen is a little finer than 8/2 cotton but is wiry and so works well at the same setts. Weaving lore says that you should keep linen damp while working with it; in my experience (which relates to the humidity in my own house), warps of this French linen doesn’t need to be kept damp but you _should_ keep your spools of linen weft in a humidor. Linen is very absorbent and dries quickly, making it an ideal choice for towels. Recommended setts: 18-22
